Software for skip hire firms
Skip hire is carrying, and often receiving at your own yard too. Tippa covers both: collections and drivers on the road, and receipts and Defra reporting at the yard.
Free to start. The core tools, and reporting to Defra, cost nothing in Tippa.
What Tippa does for you.
On the road
Arrange collections, send drivers out with their work on their phone (unlimited drivers, free), and get the customer's signature and photos at the collection. Plan rounds with the Round Planning add-on.
At your yard
If your yard is a permitted site, record every load in with gross and tare weights, and Tippa reports each one to Defra's Digital Waste Tracking service for you. Household drop-offs need no carrier registration.
Both sides together
When your own lorry drops a skip at your own yard, the receipt is planned for you, ready to receive, and your lorries' tare weights are already there at the weighbridge.
Returns and records
Your EA, NRW, SEPA or NIEA waste return built from the yard's records and sent for you (Waste Returns add-on), a pre-filled transfer note from any receipt, and every carrier checked on the public registers.
What Tippa isn't: it doesn't take skip bookings from the public, keep track of where each skip is, or do your invoicing. It's the waste records and compliance side of the job: the paperwork, the evidence and the reporting.
